About Us

About us:

Optimal support was founded in 2020 by Rebecca Rose. Drawing on her background in health and social care. Rebecca recognised the increasing need for support services. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, Rebecca established a responsive, reliable, and transparent independent support service.

The company faced numerous challenges from the outset, particularly when the Covid-19 pandemic struck just as operations began. Despite these obstacles, our staff's resilience, passion, and determination have enabled us to deliver innovate, high-quality support.

Today, we are stronger than ever. Our core mission remains unchanged: to promote Independence, health and wellbeing through personal development and social inclusion, meeting individuals needs and aspirations.

As an approved provider within the Mental health framework of the local authority, we continue to develop partnerships with other agencies and remain committed to adding social value to the community. We also collaborate with the NHS offering students placements within our service.

Our Mission:

To promote independence, health & well-being

We are an independent, responsive , and transparent service with confident, qualified and experience staff. We are dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality support that focuses on personal development and social inclusion to meet the needs and aspirations of individuals.

Each of our service users is allocated a personal support worker, if the package of support requires more then one worker , then we can assign more workers to the network of support who will build trusting relationships over time, enabling individuals to work towards a recovery model. This team effort ensures that realistic goals are identified and our service users are supported in achieving them.

Once needs and goals are identified, we may refer or collaborate with other agencies to ensure the best possible care for the service user.

This approach includes working with :

  • Care Coordinators
  • Community Drugs and Alcohol teams
  • Community Mental Health Teams
  • Adult Social Care
  • Voluntary Services (Day Centres)
  • Educational institutes
  • CPN’s (Community Psychiatric Nurse)
  • Social Workers
  • Psychiatrists
  • General practitioners
  • Specialists
  • Family/Support Network

We implement this multi-agency approach by supporting service users during appointments, outpatients visits, clinic attendance, and more. Our close collaboration with other professionals ensure that we all work towards the same goals, thereby maximizing the quality of life for our service users.
